FERME DES CUSTINE
Ferme des Custine
Built in 1725 in stone and red brick facing, which were once still visible on the eastern façade, covered with a Mansard roof over a fine framework, and set back from a vast courtyard, this house is called "Le Château". It was a farm of the Custines, lords of Guermange. The adjoining barn, with its high framework, has retained its red brick facings.
The interior of this residence, which is currently being restored, is distinguished by its half-timbered partitions and French ceilings on the first floor.
The house and the barn are now listed in the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques. Free guided tour by reservation only for a maximum of 4 people.
